About us

The practice was founded in 2007, while Colleen Dittmar was still a student at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Colleen and her husband, Doug Dittmar, had a vision of service. They wanted to serve the community that they lived in by providing them access to a health and fitness center. The river front property was purchased in 2007 and soon underwent a major renovation, lead and designed by Doug, including raising the concrete floor by 3 foot to obtain a certificate of elevation. A lot of time, effort, and dedication was put forth in order to open the property and be able to serve this wonderful community and surrounding areas. We are conveniently located on Hwy 22 in a centralized area to West Davenport, Muscatine, and Blue Grass Iowa. Many people venture over from Illinois, due to the convenience provided by Interstate 280. We also have a number of patients that travel great lengths to let us serve them, including people from West DesMoines IA, Wapello IA, and Geneseo Il. Since the inception of the chiropractic clinic and fitness center, we have added a second chiropractor, Kara (daughter), into our practice. We have many ideas and other visions of the future growth at our clinic! We are so very proud and grateful for the opportunity to serve and look forward to the years to come.
